Mohammed accused Christians of being polytheist by counting God's Spirit as a separate God when it comes to Christian worship. But what does Mohammed's own book teach about the Spirit of God? Here are a couple Old Testament verses from a version of the Jews Tanach (Chabad.org):

Genesis 1:2 Now the earth was astonishingly empty, and darkness was on the face of the deep, and the spirit of God was hovering over the face of the water.

Exodus 31:3 and I have imbued him with the spirit of God, with wisdom, with insight, with knowledge, and with [talent for] all manner of craftsmanship

1Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and [that] the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

Sura 32:9 But He fashioned him in due proportion, and breathed into him something of His spirit. And He gave you (the faculties of) hearing and sight and feeling (and understanding): little thanks do ye give!

Sura 15.29: "When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him something of His spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him."

Sura 58.22 ...For such He has written Faith in their hearts, and strengthened them with a spirit from Himself....

Sura 38:72 "When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of my spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him."

Sura 16:102 Say, the Holy Spirit has brought the revelation from thy Lord in Truth, in order to strengthen those who believe, and as a Guide and Glad Tidings to Muslims.

All three English translations of the Quran at that link use the term "Holy Spirit". We can see that in the above sura Mohammed's own book recognizes the Holy Spirit, suggesting that it is also guiding and bringing glad tidings to Muslims. Doesn't that indicate Muslims are transparently polytheistic hypocrites by the same measure they apply to Christians? Believing in two Gods.

Tragically Muslims will remain in the spirit of antichrist as long as they reject the crucifixion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. The whole subject of the new covenant, which is what "New Testament", means.

Yahoo turns up 220,000 hits for a search of - quran "word of allah" even when in quotes.

The Old Testament details the covenant that God made with His chosen people, the Jews. It is part of the Christian bible, which also includes the New Testament, that details a new covenant that was prophesied in the Old Testament. This was fulfilled through Jesus Christ, whom we recognize as the prophesied Messiah, in the Old Testament.

1Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost [which is] in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

(The term "Holy Ghost" is unique to the King James version, wherein "Holy Spirit" is also used, in that 16th century English translation, of the 1st century Koine Greek words: hagios {hag'-ee-os} pneuma {pnyoo'-mah}.)

Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

This Spirit of God is a part of God which for convenience has been dubbed the "trinity", though that doctrinal term does not exist in scripture, evidence of the concept certainly does:

1John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Sura 21:91 And (remember) her who guarded her chastity: We breathed into her of Our spirit, and We made her and her son a sign for all peoples.

That's a reference to the Virgin Mary, being impregnated with Jesus, according to Mohammed, by God breathing His Spirit into her. God's Spirit made manifest, or revealed to mankind, in the flesh of Jesus Christ.

No surprise then that so many Muslims refer to Jesus uniquely as "Ruhullah" or the "Spirit of Allah". Yahoo - ruhullah the "spirit of allah"

Stunningly, because of inconsistencies in the Quran they can't recognize God as Jesus' Father, and must reject the 234 verses in the bible that refer to God as the Father, 44 verses that call Jesus "the Son of God", 64 that refer to Him as the Son, and 10 that declare He is begotten of God.

Matthew 1:18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

1Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

If you are a Muslim why not listen to a few testimonies of your former brethren who have come to know the love of the one true God through Jesus Christ.
